Why did you become a lawyer?
I am very passionate about what I do. I wake up every morning charged up to do something special. Legislative initiatives are critical to both legal and social change so justice is a reality in our ever changing society. I became a lawyer so justice would not be a luxury.
What advice do you have for law students?
Be passionate and involved in what you do. Don’t give up. Persistence and hard work do pay off. Nothing is just black or white.
What is the biggest way that your practice has changed since you first started working in that area?
The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd. has expended tremendously from one to 23 attorneys. We have reunited thousands of fathers and their children. We have helped find missing and kidnapped children from around the world. We are here to make a positive change and I see that change in my practice more and more as each day goes by.
